→ i finished my contest entry for gokusen_love. it feels a little weird though, i barely had time to read through it before posting it so i can make the contest deadline, haha, so the tenses might be a little inconsistent. also, 13papernotes has a new layout. which i totally just got off minty_peach because i'm still too lazy to code even just css.

→ this download schedule needs to be updated. badly. exept i still have no idea which airing doramas i am interested in. so i just smacked all the winter titles in the schedule. haha.

→ should i even bother watching torchwood 2.01? the first season bored me to death, i stopped after episode 3 or 4, i think. people say this season is going to be infinitely better though, and hey, james marsters is in the pilot. sharing a hot kiss with capt. jack. also, MARTHA JONES WILL BE ON NEXT EPISODE SOON. she made doctor who so much more interesting for me, maybe she'll do the same with torchwood.

If you ask me what my favorite anime is, no matter what, the answer never changes. Right from the moment I first saw it, until now, it has always been Escaflowne. And now I'm watching it all over again. At least I've seen the first two episodes again.

And I still love it so much, I HAVE NO IDEA WHY. I mean, I love the story, the characters, the relationships, and dammit the absoFUCKINGlutely wonderful soundtrack (Yoko Kanno + Sakamoto Maaya = ♥) -- but I have no idea what made me start watching and adoring this in the first place. The animation isn't really the best out there (although, okay, I guess it was wonderful for its time) and the drawing isn't so pretty either (hello Pinocchio noses, LOL). Plus Hitomi isn't the prettiest heroine out there (in fact she's one of the most normal heroines out there) and Van just looks so blah now (even though I used to think he was one of the hottest things out there haha).

But still, no matter how many times I watch and rewatch this, it just fascinates me and I love it more and more.

And have I mentioned the absoFUCKINGlutely wonderful soundtrack yet? XD

Wah. I have Gokusen (the anime) HQ AVI files with me! They were among the the CDs kalabull lent me. Ha! I can cap the anime properly now. ♥ Plus its a good excuse to rewatch the anime. XD Haha, just how did I become such a Gokusen addict? O_o

ETA I apparently want to tortue myself -- I just claimed Kyohei/Sunako at 1sentence. @_@ Can I even do them justice?! I SUCK at humor. T_T And I didn't even check if any of the theme sets were ideal for them. -__-' I hope I don't drop them though. ^^;

An orgmate passed away. RIP Kimberly Anne Mejos. Condolences to her family. I can't believe it. I didn't even know she had an ailment. I've never known anyone so close to my age die. Its just so weird, cause it seems so unexpected and it means anything can happen, anytime.

I don't think anyone was particularly close to her, especially among older batches, since she didn't drop by that often. But she was a pretty nice girl, and when she was around I got along with her nicely. We're going to visit her on Thursday. Anyone who wants to come, please do. :/

This one was written for a dialogue_500 challenge. I've always wanted to try writing ShinKumi (and ooh, I also have them claimed over at 1sentence, ack!) and when the "Drunken Confessions" prompt came up, I figured it was my chance. :p There's a version which has (almost) pure dialogue, which can be found here. This one has more words because it has more description. I don't think I do very well with pure dialogue. *sigh*
